EVENT INFO HIGHLIGHTS: ​

A wristband must be purchased for each child participating in BCL activities.

Children MUST be accompanied at the event by a guardian; adult guardians DO NOT need to purchase a wristband.

There are no refunds for wristbands. Should we experience weather that is not conducive to an outdoor festival, a make up date or alternative activity will be scheduled.

All funds will support the Bear Creek Elementary PTA.
Each BCL child wristband includes unlimited game play at festival booths and activities. Food is not included, but is available for purchase onsite. Complimentary water will be available onsite, while supplies last.

WHO NEEDS A WRISTBAND?
A wristband must be purchased for each child participating in BCL. Parents and guardians and children too young for activities do not need a wristband.

WHERE DO WE PARK?
Parking is limited. We strongly encourage walking, carpooling, and biking to BCL. Limited golf cart parking and handicap accessible parking will be available in the back circle drive of Bear Creek (bus circle); please see a parking volunteer to help direct you. Onsite parking for other vehicles is not available. Parking at Avana Pool is available only to BCE staff and event sponsors.

CAN MY CHILD ATTEND THE FESTIVAL WITHOUT ME?
Children attending BCL must be accompanied by a guardian. This is NOT a drop-off event.

CAN I PURCHASE A WRISTBAND ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT?
Wristbands will be available on Sept 26th at the event for $30. We strongly encourage you to purchase your wristband before Sept 19th to secure the best price and avoid waiting in line.

HOW DO I GET MY PRE-ORDERED WRISTBAND?
Pre-ordered wristbands will be distributed the week prior to BCL at two "wristband pickup" events. Wristband pickup events are located in the front circle drive (car line pickup are) of Bear Creek Elementary. Wristbands WILL NOT be sent home with students. If you miss wristband pickup, your pre-ordered wristband will be available at the wristband sales table at the event. ​

Wednesday, Sept 24th - 4:00 - 6:00PM

WILL THERE BE FOOD AND DRINKS AT BCL?
Yes! There will be food trucks with a variety of food and drink offerings for purchase onsite. Complimentary water and beverages are available while supplies last.

CAN I BRING OUTSIDE FOOD AND DRINKS TO BCL?
Yes! But please note that all AISD campuses are tobacco and alcohol-free.

CAN I BRING MY PET TO BCL?
No, AISD campuses are pet-free environments.

HOW CAN I GET A REFUND IF I CANNOT ATTEND THE EVENT?
Unfortunately there are no refunds. Proceeds from unused wristbands will be considered a donation to the Bear Creek Elementary PTA.

DO YOU NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR THE EVENT?
YES- - we need lots of help to put on BCL! Whether you want to join a committee or donate a few hours of time on the day of the event, we would love your help. We can use help from students (middle-school, high-school, and college-aged) and parents. If you'd like to get involved, fill out our VOLUNTEER INTEREST FORM and one of our team leads will reach out to you!
